About the Role
We’re looking for a Fullstack Engineer to help build the calm corner of the internet. You’ll work across our entire stack—from crafting smooth, delightful UI experiences to building robust backend services that power our kids’ app.
This is an early-stage role. You’ll have real ownership, real impact, and the chance to shape both the product and our engineering culture from the ground up.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain our Next.js web application and Capacitor-based mobile app
- Design and implement APIs and backend services on Azure
- Collaborate closely with design to create pixel-perfect, accessible interfaces
- Help establish engineering best practices as we grow
- Contribute to architecture decisions and technical direction
- Write clean, tested, maintainable code
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in fullstack development
- Strong proficiency with React and Next.js
- Experience with TypeScript (we use it everywhere)
- Familiarity with Node.js backend development
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure (Cosmos DB, Functions, App Services)
- Understanding of mobile development concepts (Capacitor/React Native experience is a plus)
- Eye for design and attention to UI/UX details
- Self-starter who thrives with autonomy
Nice to Have
- Experience with Capacitor or hybrid mobile apps
- Familiarity with MongoDB / document databases
- Experience integrating AI/ML APIs (OpenAI, Azure AI)
- Background in audio/video streaming
- Interest in child development or EdTech
