Meevee B.V., located in Amsterdam (The Netherlands), Chamber of Commerce number 99208431, is referred to as "Meevee" in these Terms of Service. Meevee is a trusted companion for families looking for a digital platform they can feel good about — an ad-free streaming service for young children, paired with a parent companion experience that helps families manage screen time with calm, intention, and care.
All features offered by Meevee will be referred to as the "Services". The users of Meevee will be referred to as "You" in the remainder of these Terms.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of the Meevee website, app, and related Services. By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. These Terms apply to all quotations, offers, activities, agreements, and deliveries of Services by or on behalf of Meevee.
The agreement always contains obligations of best effort for Meevee, not obligations of result.
1. Who May Use Meevee
You must be:
- At least 18 years old to create an account
- A parent or legal guardian if children will use the Service
Children may only use Meevee under supervision and via profiles created by adults.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login credentials secure
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Ensuring the information you provide is accurate
We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or are misused.
3. Subscriptions and Payments
After registration you will start with the 14-days free trial. After this trial you will automatically become a Member. You can change to a Champion whenever. Meevee offers two membership tiers:
- Member: This Member tier includes full library access, every show, every episode, ad-free. Membership to a growing community of families who believe screen time can end well. Monthly vote on themes for new content and commissions. No autoplay. No engagement traps. Ever. The subscription for Member membership is €8 per month or €77 per year (equivalent to €6.40 per month).
- Champion: Champion includes everything in Member, plus your family named in the credits of your choice of commissioned content (Family Legacy), early access to new shows before general release, behind-the-scenes updates from creators (sketches, voice recordings, studio diaries), exclusive content from creators and content partners, and priority input on new content themes — your vote counts twice. The subscription for Champion membership is €12 per month or €115 per year (equivalent to €9.60 per month).
Prices outside the Eurozone are shown at checkout in the relevant local currency and may differ from the amounts listed above.
The 20% yearly discount (equivalent to two months free) applies only when you register for and pay for the annual membership upfront. If you start on a monthly plan and switch to a yearly plan later, the discount applies from the date of the switch onwards.
3.1 Automatic renewal. When the free trial of 14-days ends, the Member subscription automatically converts into a paid monthly subscription “Member subscription”, unless cancelled before the trial expires. If after trial you want a Champion subscription, you can easily change this during or after the trial.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Monthly subscriptions renew for successive monthly billing periods and annual subscriptions renew for successive annual billing periods.
You may cancel a subscription at any time with a notice period of no more than one month. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You can cancel your subscription through your account settings or the relevant app store platform at any time before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next billing period.
3.2 Payment methods. Payments on the web are processed by Stripe. On iOS, purchases are processed by Apple using the payment method you have on file with your Apple ID. Apple or Stripe will request the payment details when starting the free trial. No membership fee will be charged at that time.
Stripe, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement and, upon your acceptance of the Terms, Apple shall have the right to enforce this Agreement against you as a third-party beneficiary.
Where payments are made via Apple Pay, App Store and/or In-App Purchase, the terms and conditions of Apple, your bank, card issuer and any other payment processor may also apply.
Meevee does not receive your card details and cannot guarantee availability, functionality or uninterrupted operation of Stripe or Apple. Meevee cannot be held responsible for any unauthorized use or failure of Stripe or Apple’s services. Meevee is entitled to rely on a payment successfully authorized through Stripe or Apple as being authorized by the lawful holder of Stripe’s or Apple’s payment services. Meevee is allowed to reject or cancel any payment where it suspects unauthorized, fraudulent or other illegal use. Additional methods may be added over time.
All prices shall be displayed in Euros (€), including VAT. No additional fee shall be charged for the use of Stripe’s or Apple’s services, unless expressly disclosed prior to payment.
3.3 Waiver of right of withdrawal. By completing the registration for a membership, including a free trial, you expressly request that Meevee begins performance of the Services immediately during the statutory 14-day withdrawal period. You acknowledge and expressly agree that, once the membership services have been performed, and you have accessed digital content and services, you consent to the loss of your right of withdrawal.
3.4 Refunds. Refunds follow local consumer protection law. Purchases made through Stripe or Apple’s In-App Purchase system may be subject to Stripe’s or Apple’s refund process. You may submit refund requests through Stripe’s or Apple’s designated support channels. Nothing in these Terms limits statutory refund rights that apply to you. Meevee shall not be liable for delays caused by third-party payment providers or financial institutions.

5. Content and Licensing
Meevee provides access to content licensed from third-party creators and studios. You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to stream and access this content for private, non-commercial household use.
You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or make available the content to third parties without prior permission, except where permitted by applicable law.
6. User-Submitted Content
The Services allow parents or legal guardians to upload images, text, or other materials ("User-Submitted Content") for use in personalised features within their private, non-commercial household use.
By uploading User-Submitted Content, you represent and warrant that the content does not infringe any third-party rights or applicable laws.
You grant Meevee a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to process, store, and technically use the content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the personalised features of the Services.
Meevee does not claim ownership of User-Submitted Content.
User-Submitted Content is processed automatically to enable service functionality and is not used to train public or third-party AI models.
You retain all rights to your content.
7. Prohibited Content
You may not upload, share, or make available any User-Submitted Content that:
- You do not own or have permission to use
- Contains nudity, sexual content, or sexualised imagery involving minors
- Is violent, abusive, hateful, or threatening
- Is discriminatory or promotes harm or illegal activity
- Violates the rights, dignity, or safety of a child
- Is otherwise inappropriate for young children
Meevee reserves the right, but has no obligation, to review, remove, restrict, or disable access to any User-Submitted Content at its sole discretion.
8. Content Moderation and Enforcement
Meevee may monitor, review, or moderate User-Submitted Content to ensure compliance with these Terms and our Content Standards.
Where reasonably necessary, Meevee may, with reasonable notice, and without notice in urgent cases, remove or block content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms, and may suspend or terminate accounts in cases of repeated or serious violations. Where required by applicable law, we may report unlawful content to relevant authorities.
Meevee does not endorse User-Submitted Content and is not responsible for such content.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Meevee B.V., its directors, employees, partners, and licensors from third-party claims, damages, or reasonable costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising directly from:
- User-Submitted Content you upload;
- your material breach of these Terms; or
- claims that your content infringes third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.
This indemnification applies to the extent such claims arise from your unlawful or negligent conduct and to the extent permitted by applicable law.
10. Safety & Wellbeing Features
While our features are developed based on insights into digital wellbeing, Meevee provides these as tools only. We do not guarantee specific development or behavioural results for children. The responsibility for screen time management remains entirely with the parent or legal guardian.
To be very clear: Meevee does not guarantee "ending" screen time struggles — our features are designed to support parents, not replace their judgement. More information is available on our blog.
11. Availability and Changes
We may update, suspend, or modify features from time to time. We will make reasonable efforts to give notice of major changes or interruptions.
12. Termination
You may stop using Meevee at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account where reasonably necessary for:
- material breach of these Terms;
- fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity; or
- where required to comply with applicable law or to address serious safety or security risks.
Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice of suspension or termination and, where appropriate, an opportunity to remedy the issue.
Upon termination, your rights, including your right to use the Services under these Terms, will end.
13. Disclaimers
Meevee is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we aim to provide a reliable and high-quality service, we do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Meevee is not responsible for interruptions or limitations caused by external factors, including third-party content providers or technical infrastructure outside our control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits your statutory consumer rights.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Meevee is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses resulting from misuse of the Services or actions of third-party providers.
Meevee's total liability arising out of or in connection with the Services shall be limited to the total amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €100, whichever is higher.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts in Amsterdam, unless mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.
16. Changes to the Terms
Meevee may update these Terms from time to time where reasonably necessary, for example to reflect changes in the Services, applicable law, or our business operations.
If Meevee makes material changes, we will notify you in advance (for example by email or through the Service) and indicate the date on which the updated Terms will take effect.
If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you may stop using the Services and cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.
Continued use of the Services after the effective date of the changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
